Reflection
This project made me realise how much can be communicated through typography alone. Working with a story as recognisable as Alice in Wonderland meant I had to find ways of creating a sense of its world without relying on illustrations or imagery. I enjoyed experimenting with scale, pacing, type, and the relationship between the different spreads to give the text its own visual character. It also taught me that a type-only approach doesn’t necessarily mean keeping things minimal — there is still a lot of room to play, as long as the typography is doing the work.
