Reflection

Steel Monkeys was one of those projects where the idea became clearer as I worked through it. The product itself was quite simple, but figuring out how to make it feel interesting without overcomplicating it was the real challenge. I experimented with how far the identity could lean into the playful side while still feeling like something you would actually want to have on your bar cart. Looking back, I think the project helped me become more comfortable with letting the visual direction develop through experimentation rather than trying to have everything figured out from the start.
